Special Notice about Coronavirus (COVID -19)
23rd March 2020 UPDATE
Following the new restrictions in the uk announced by the PM this evening. Vickys Dog Care will remain available to help ONLY regular clients. Many dogs need to be regularly groomed on welfare grounds. By employing social distancing measures and adequate hygiene protocols, I am continuing this essential service only if I feel it’s appropriate and safe to do so. I ask all clients to be responsible and follow the recommended guidelines from the government regarding self-isolation and respect the additional safeguarding measures I have put in place. To avoid possible cross contamination via cash and cheques I can now accept card payments which is the preferred method for everyone’s safety.
Stay safe everyone x

Vicky’s Dog Care is open as normal
The Coronavirus outbreak impacts us all. We must all do our bit to get through this. I wanted to let you know what I’m doing to support my clients and their dogs.
Services will continue to be provided strictly by appointment only. I continue to give all dogs ‘one to one’ attention. I do not run a production line and never have. I continue to see only one person at a time.
As from today, handover of dogs is outside front entrance in secure gated area with minimal contact. This is for your well-being and also for mine.
I want to reassure you all that hygiene is always at the top of my list to ensure the safety of my clients and myself. I continue to take all measures to keep the grooming room hygienically clean.
My hands are continuously washed during and between grooms. In fact, my hands are probably washed more than most if you consider the lengthy shampoo process.
My own good health, that of my family, my clients and their dogs are at the top of my priority list. If you feel the slightest bit unwell, please stay at home and notify me (we can always rearrange). Please follow the recommended guidelines from the government regarding self-isolation.
Keeping your dog well-groomed is vital to their wellbeing. To ensure this continues we need to work together in the safest way possible.
Take care of yourself, your loved ones and your dogs – together we can do it.
